Breathing new life into an old emerald ring…

With this bespoke remount job, we utilised our customers treasured emerald and baguette diamonds, and set them into a stunning new platinum ring mount.

Initially, the plan was to use the old European cut diamonds in the halo.

After unsetting the stones and carefully measuring the dimensions, we found the diamonds to be too varied to use in the halo in an aesthetically pleasing way, so a decision was made to use modern round brilliant diamonds, which have more consistent shapes and proportions, in the halo and use four of the old European cut diamonds in the shoulders of the ring.

The ring was crafted in Platinum (950). Designed, assembled, finished and set in house by our team in Chichester, West Sussex.
