🎄 Hello December!
✨ Celebrating a Year of Sparkle
What a year it has been! 2025 has been filled with creativity, connection, and countless beautiful moments. We’ve loved bringing your ideas to life—whether crafting bespoke engagement and wedding rings, transforming treasured heirlooms into something new, or welcoming wonderful new members to our team.
This year, we’ve also had the pleasure of meeting many new customers while continuing to see the familiar faces of our loyal supporters—something that always brings us joy. Our windows have undergone several colourful transformations, each showcasing an array of stunning new pieces. And for the second year in a row, teal sapphires remain a firm favourite! Their enchanting greenish-blue glow continues to capture hearts—including ours. 💎
Looking ahead, 2026 will be extra special as we celebrate our 30th anniversary! We have exciting celebrations and surprises planned, so stay tuned—we can’t wait to share what we have in store!
REVEALED! The Pantone Colour of 2026 is : Cloud Dancer
Pantone has crowned Cloud Dancer as the defining colour of 2026—a soft, perfectly balanced white that brings a sense of serenity to an increasingly hyper-connected world. Described as “a billowy, balanced white imbued with a feeling of serenity,” the shade speaks to a growing cultural desire for calm as technology’s influence keeps accelerating. It encourages a return to measured consideration and quiet reflection.
Associated with new beginnings and the promise of a blank canvas, Cloud Dancer captures the gentle movement of natural fabrics—feathers, linen, and airy silhouettes. Think eggshell whites and soft wisps of cloud; diamonds with delicate fire; luminous pearls; and the quiet glow of white moonstone, star sapphire, and opal. And with gold prices soaring, perhaps this is also a hint that platinum and silver will surge in popularity. A nuanced, natural neutral, Cloud Dancer is designed to soften the relentless hum of 24/7 hustle culture. It is not a stark or brilliant white, but a warm, stone-washed shade with subtle grey undertones—a small but significant mood-lift in a world that often feels heavy and oversaturated. A perfect visual detox.
We’re eager to see how this colour translates into furnishings, fashion, and all things design in the year ahead. And for those who can’t wait, we’ve curated a selection of Cloud Dancer–inspired gems to embrace the look now.
More than a colour, Cloud Dancer captures the cultural moment, weaving together global influences in design, lifestyle, and creative expression. Pantone’s annual selection is a meticulous process: they study shifts in culture, politics, fashion, and art; identify a colour family; and refine it to a single, precise shade. Even the name is chosen with intention—because the moment you hear a colour’s name, an image forms instantly.

✨ Bring Back Your Sparkle for the Party Season!
Hand creams, lotions, and even a touch of garden soil can dull your jewellery’s shine over time. If your favourite pieces have lost their sparkle, pop in for a same-day professional clean and polish — the perfect pre-party refresh.
Alternatively, drop them off in the New Year for a thorough clean and check once the festivities wind down. Because every celebration deserves a little extra shimmer. ✨
Level 1: approximately 20 minutes, includes stone check, ultrasonic and steam clean, £10
Level 2: approximately 60 minutes, includes stone check, ultrasonic and steam clean with full polish of the metal, £35
Level 3: approximately two hours, includes stone check, ultrasonic and steam clean, full polish of the metal and a rhodium plating (for silver or white gold jewellery), £45
(Please note that some jewellery might need extra work or care and some gemstones may not be able to go into the ultrasonic but we thoroughly inspect all items before cleaning and we will inform you of any issues before we take it in.)
📈 Market Insights for 2026
After a blockbuster 50% surge in 2025, gold is expected to continue climbing in 2026—though more steadily. Analysts forecast a 5% rise, while some remain bullish, projecting prices could reach $5,000 per troy ounce. Silver is also on the rise, with forecasts suggesting $60 an ounce. One thing is certain: the precious metals markets are likely to remain volatile for some time! Latest Releases From Santa’s Our Workshop:
Meet our Goldsmiths:
You met our stone setters Karl and Recto, and we’ve introduced you to goldsmiths Dimitrios and Graeme, now it is time to meet goldsmith Mike. Here is a fun Q&A with him.
1. What do you like about your job:
I’ve been in the industry for nearly 15 years now and every day is a school day learning new ways to approach issues or create things in new styles. I love that every day is different and I have variety but mostly I love that I can make things out of plain simple materials into something beautiful like a work of art.
2. What’s your favourite tool:
Definitely the laser welder. It can get into tiny places that are hard to reach.
3. What was your favourite project:
I love making rope twist bands. Anything with a twist. I love the contours and shapes and I just have a flair for it. It is quite tricky and not every goldsmith enjoys doing these bands but I quite like them.
4. Favourite metal or gemstone:
I love rich, vibrant blue sapphires—that colour is just gorgeous. And platinum. Platinum is a great hard metal with lovely shine when polished. It has great density and setting sapphires in it just is a stunning combination.
