Our on-site workshop, located within our Chichester store, allows us to provide a prompt and personal ring sizing service without compromising on craftsmanship. Rings purchased from us, whether on the same day or recently, are eligible for same-day resizing, perfect for a last-minute gift or enjoying your new piece straight away.

For rings not purchased from us, or those brought in after the date of sale, our standard turnaround is up to two weeks. More complex designs may require up to six weeks. In all cases, we’ll provide a clear, honest timeframe from the outset, with the same level of care and attention to detail.

Can any ring be resized?

Resizing, as you can expect, isn’t one‑size‑fits‑all – every ring is examined by our goldsmiths to ensure changes don’t compromise its beauty or structure. Precious metals like gold, platinum, and silver can usually be altered, but other materials such as titanium, tungsten or rings crafted from wood, ceramic, or stainless steel simply cannot. The most common adjustments involve either adding metal to enlarge or removing it to reduce size, yet the method depends on each design’s complexity and material.

Gemstone settings – particularly pavé, channel or tension styles – require special attention; sometimes stones need to be unset, resized, and expertly reset, or the ring may be unsuitable for resizing. Simple bands may allow stretching or compression, while ornate or multi‑metal designs demand cutting and soldering. Ultimately, ring resizing is a bespoke service in itself: each piece is individually assessed to maintain its integrity, appearance, and longevity.
