Timothy Roe Fine Jewellery is built on a lifelong passion for design, craftsmanship, and family. Born in 1959 and raised in Chichester, Tim Roe grew up surrounded by creativity, inspired by his father’s artistic talents and his own early love of art. After studying at Worthing Art College, he began his career in a local jeweller’s workshop, where his fascination with jewellery truly took shape.
In 1984, Tim co-founded his first business, refining his skills before choosing to focus on designing and creating new pieces. By 1995, he set out on his own, spending countless evenings at the workbench developing what would become Timothy Roe Fine Jewellery.
Since opening in 1996, the business has grown steadily, expanding the workshop, embracing new technologies, and building a reputation for exceptional bespoke jewellery. Today, every stage of creation is carefully managed in-house, allowing the team to achieve the exceptional standards that Tim had always dreamed they would reach.

At the core of Timothy Roe Fine Jewellery is our Chichester workshop, where every one-of-a-kind piece begins its journey. It is here that our talented team of goldsmiths, designers, and specialists bring ideas to life, combining years of experience with a shared passion for exceptional jewellery.
Our workshop is equipped with everything needed to achieve the highest standards, from fully fitted benches to advanced tools, including microscopes and CAD design technology. By keeping these skills in-house, we maintain complete control over quality, precision, and finish.
We’re very proud of our workshop and showroom and love being able to show people around. You are always welcome to visit, meet the team, and see where jewellery is carefully made and restored. It is an experience that reflects the care and attention behind everything we do.

Timothy Roe Fine Jewellery is shaped by an exceptional team of talented individuals. At its centre are Tim and Dan Roe, a family partnership guiding the business with experience and vision. Tim leads as head designer, while Dan oversees the day-to-day running of the shop.
Beside them is a highly skilled team, from master goldsmiths to expert stone setters, each bringing precision and care to every piece. We also have our wonderful and welcoming front-of-house team, who ensure every visit feels relaxed, personal, and enjoyable.
