From Bracelet to Stacking Rings

Made in our Chichester jewellery workshops,  just in time for Christmas, these stacking rings started out as something completely different.   Our customer brought in a diamond and ruby set yellow gold bracelet, hoping to have it crafted into a new piece of jewellery.  We set to work removing the stones from the bracelet so we could measure them, in order to make sure the new rings were the correct diemensions to set the stones.  The rings were designed by Chris, the newest addition to our Computer Aided Design Team, with a few pointers from Tim Roe here and there.  

Once complete, the deigns were built in wax on our 3D printer, the wax models then cast into precious metal - in this case yellow gold.  The rough castings were carefully polished up and then the diamonds and rubies set into the rings.  All in time for Christmas! 

 

The rings can be worn in any order - stacked together to make a real statement, or worn separately for a more subtle look.  For more ideas and inspiration, visit our Portfolio.
