Bespoke is best!

We craft many pieces of bespoke jewellery every week. From start to finish it all gets done in our workshops - engagement rings, wedding rings, dress rings, earrings, pendants, brooches, cufflinks and other jewellery is made.  We use white gold, yellow gold, rose gold, platinum, palladium and silver.  A lot of the jewellery we make is also carefully set with precious gemstones or diamonds.  

In this case, the brief was to make a double row diamond set wedding ring to fit around the customers own three stone engagement ring.  The engagement ring, due to it being reduced from a larger finger size in the past, was a little oval shaped - this made it quite tricky to design the new ring to fit!

We set to work designing the new ring using our Computer Aided Design software, this enabled us to allow the three stone engagement ring to fit perfectly - slotting in between the diamond set bands.  

 We then build a wax model of the design on our 3d printer, ready to cast into precious metal - the rough cast ring can be seen in the top two pictures. 

The finished result looks really stunning - in keeping with the style of the engagement ring and having a perfect fit.  Bespoke was really the best option for this ring, it would not have been possible to have something that fitted so elegantly using ready made mounts from another supplier, like many high street jewellers would.  The use of Computer Aided Design also ensures we can utilise our knowledge and experience of making handmade jewellery, but with greater accuracy and symmetry - all at a better price.

It also makes it, we hope our customer agrees, a little bit more special!
